New Emphasis 2016-2018 By All Means

Watchword:  I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.  I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings”                                           1 Corinthians 9:22-b-23 NIV.

  • follow the example of Christ;
  • step into the world around us
  • cultivate relationships
  • create opportunities to demonstrate the love of Christ

Project HELP:  PTSD
Emphasis Book:  Unscripted:  Sharing the Gospel as Life Happens

Waccamaw WMU is committed to inspire, challenge, and educate boys and girls, men and women. The Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) is our trumpet call to missions:

19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Missions Education is integral to fulfilling the call to missions. Time spent preparing our girls and boys for support projects is a vital part of any missions effort; knowledge shared is invaluable to individuals who go on missions; doing our part, whether supporting or going, is essential; being part of something greater than ourselves is reward in itself; and, when we pray for ourselves and others, we complete the circle of “doing missions.”
